Awards:

4 pairs of “professionally fitted” running shoes from On The Run will be awarded to the overall male and female finishers for the 5k and 10k run.  In addition to the awards for top overall male and female finishers, additional age category awards will be presented. Awards will be based on gun time, but you must wear the D-Tag to be timed.

 

All runners (and race volunteers) will receive a cotton t-shirt with the race logo at packet pickup. 

 

Door Prizes:

There will be numerous prizes donated by our generous sponsors.

Timing:

The  Race Scoring will be done by Run Wild Sports Timing using the D-Tag System. You will not be considered an official finisher if you do not wear the D-Tag on your shoe. The tag will be attached to your bib number and needs to be detached from the bib and attached to your shoe prior to the start of the race.  You will NOT need to return the tag at the conclusion of the race.  You will NOT be able to use your personal timing chip for this race.

 

General:

No baby strollers or wheeled vehicles allowed on course. Pets are not allowed, and headsets are not recommended.  No refunds or transfers. No rain date.

 

Registration and Packet Pickup:

Tuesday, May 4, 2010, and Thursday, May 6, 2010,  at On the Run,

10009 Broadway, Ste. 101, Pearland 713-340-0505 from 2:30pm to 6:30pm. 

 

Race Day—Saturday, May 8, 2010, at Independence Park

from 6:15am- 7:00am.

 

Credit Cards are only accepted online through Active.Com.
